1. Identify and Confirm the Van Is Grounded
- During the pre-trip inspection, if a safety issue is found, the van must be grounded immediately and removed from use.
2. Remove and Tag the Keys
- The InHome associate removes the van’s keys.
- Attach “Do Not Operate” tags to both the keys and the steering wheel.
- Tags can be found in the Claims area.
3. Transfer Tagged Keys to Management
- Give the tagged keys to a salaried manager.
- The manager secures the keys in an approved location per the Key and Door Control Policy available on OneWalmart.
